MDT Software Adds Reports Module to Automation Management Software

MDT Software, a provider of change management software for automation assets, has introduced a reports module that lets users of its AutoSave change management software generate more than 70 unique reports from historical data stored in AutoSave’s database.

AutoSave is designed to “protect, save, restore, discover, and track changes in PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, robots, and other programmable devices and documents,” the company said. The reporting capability exposes changes in the automation layer to improve plant performance, according to a statement.

The AutoSave Reports Module, used with AutoSave modules that support devices and programming software from Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, and other companies, lets users do the following:

• Filter data to access specific information. Users can search historical data by such parameters as date range, program, client, agent, bridge, wire, device, family, or user.
